67 and lovin my Jeep
By sarahsdawtr | on Tuesday, February 27, 2018
This is my first Jeep and its my favorite car ever and at my age Ive owned a lot of cars. Its extremely comfortable and a joy to drive with great maneuverability. The gas mileage is terrific on my long out of state trips. The price also makes it a plus. It has the versatility I need from taking the grand kids out for some fun to having my two very large pit bulls to the beach. Theres plenty of cargo space to take along whatever we need. This granny is lovin my Jeep and it helps to make me feel young again.… - 4.0
Economy Jeep
By Walker | on Sunday, June 14, 2020
The Jeep is the cheapest in the lineup and for its own reasons. However, the Jeep is still a Jeep and acts as such. Goes through Pennsylvania winter's like it's nothing and off roads as you would expect a Jeep to. It's a quiet, smooth ride. It's small and gets good gas mileage but not too small to haul things and since I have the sport package I've made good use of the roof racks. I was on the fence about this SUV, but once I test drove it, I fell in love. It's very well priced for what you get and other people have driven the Jeep and are always surprised with how well it drives and how much I paid for it as they think it should have been much more. All in all, good small SUV, great price.… - 4.0
2020 Trailhawk is a solid SUV
By Dan_957 | on Sunday, May 03, 2020
Overall the 2020 Renegade Trailhawk is a great compact SUV. The 1.3L I4 turbo matched to the 9 speed auto makes for a great combo and the added active 4x4 w/ select terrain management system, and upgraded suspension, helps create a unique package centered around off road performance. The low end torque is good for towing, climbing, or getting up to speed, and I can even pass thru up to 19 inches of water if need be. This is a comfy ride, and the added bits with uconnect and android auto deliver a fantastic driving experience. As far as quality the finish seems good, a bit heavy on the affordable denoting plastics but such is modern manufacture. I felt the interior build quality was great, no rattles etc., and I loved the cloth seat map print. The transmission is smooth and I like the mapping for holding gears/ maintaining power band - this thing is complex but brilliant IMO. The Value is fair but the options are steeply priced. Theres not much new at this price point that directly compares to the Renegade Trailhawks off road abilities but there are areas for improvement. The stock headlamps for one are rubbish, and Jeeps electronic start/ stop system is silly to have to disengage everytime you start up. Reliability and comfort are great thus far. The 115v rear outlet is super useful and the folding seats equally so. The software is very smooth and intuitive, and full of options. I'm so far very happy with how everything has worked as expected, everytime. The dual climate control is great and alls I can say is that I usually am very comfy when driving. Performance is where it is at for this model and is why you'd buy this. From tow hooks to a 21 to 1 crawl ratio to a nearly nine inch curb height, this was made to get thru it. For a Jeep assembled in Italy with a motor made in Poland and US built transmission this is a very well designed little SUV. Just check youtube if you've any doubt. Because of its design its going to handle more like a truck than a nimble car, turn radius isn't petit, but thats a tradeoff for better performance elsewhere. It may not be the best at everything but it sure is great at getting thru obstacles that would strand others.…
